Silverlight isn’t dead – it’s just sleeping!

Ok, ok, Silverlight is dead – or on it’s way at least.

I’ve had a wonderfull relationship with Silverlight for many years and through different placements produced some of the best software I’ve ever written. Best looking, most functional and most productive use of time.

With 10 years support from Microsoft on the cards, Silverlight is not going away but it’s time never the less to look towards the future.

The next Silverlight UK user group (SLUG) is meeting in March titled “Metro and WinRT for the Silverlight/WPF developer (in other words: the current XAML developer).”
